Interestingly, we also observed strong co-staining of FGFR4 and RAD51 in surgical specimens of patients who have not responded to neoadjuvant radiotherapy (Figure 2C and 2D) indicating that specifically those tumor cells that expressed high FGFR4 and upregulated RAD51 had survived the radiation treatment.
