KEAP1 and cancer: Moreover, as depicted in Table 3, reduced expression of cytoplasmic Keap1 in cancer cells was relatively associated with poor 5‐year overall survival (P = 0.082; hazard ratio [HR] = 2.24) and worse disease‐free survival (P = 0.142; HR = 1.573), and a similar result was observed in Figure 4C, D. According to the result shown in Figure 4D and F, more than 40% of Keap1− patients and less than 40% of the subset of pNrf2+ Keap1− patients lived more than 80 months after surgery.
