Stratifying on breast cancer receptor status (HER2-positive/ER-positive, HER2-positive/ER-negative, HER2-negative/ER-positive, and triple receptor negative breast cancer), YA patients were found to be significantly associated with a poorer prognosis in all breast cancer receptor subtypes (P < 0.05; Fig. 3).
