Xu et al. 19 performed a meta-analysis of prostate cancer by using six published papers and demonstrated that the polymorphism of FGFR4 (rs351855/Gly388Arg) contributed to prostate cancer incidence; the risk increased by 17% in the Arg388 allele compared with that in the Gly388 allele. This evidence concerns the gene FGFR4 and prostate carcinoma.
