Further studies indicated that GOLPH3 was highly expressed in malignant tumors, including breast cancer (expression rate, 51.6%), renal cancer (53.23%), pancreatic cancer (72.5%), and non-small cell lung cancer (71.7%), and closely related to clinical staging of tumor, also being a factor predicting poor prognosis [14–17]. This evidence concerns the gene GOLPH3 and renal carcinoma.
