In conclusion, we observe elevated Runx1 and Runx2 levels throughout disease progression that is associated with dynamic expression of PCa-associated genes (AR, αvβ6-integrin, Nkx3.1, Pten, Tgf-β1, and p21) that mark stages of prostate tumor development in the TRAMP mouse consistent with human disease. Here, RUNX2 is linked to prostate neoplasm.
