HSPB1 and melanoma: Combination of HSPB1 silencing and hyperthermia significantly improved the impact of either treatment alone in terms of decreased cell viability, apoptosis and cell cycle arrest in B16 cells, as well as human cell lines with high HSPB1 expression, either endogenous or exogenously upregulated by hyperthermia, implying the potential clinical utility of hyperthermia in conjunction with HSPB1 silencing in melanoma treatment.
