AFP and hepatocellular carcinoma: Univariate analysis identified the following factors as significantly linked to overall survival (OS): age ≥ 71 years (p < 0.0001); presence of HCC (p < 0.0001); serum albumin ≥ 3.5 g/dL (p < 0.0001); prothrombin time ≥ 76% (p < 0.0001); platelet count ≥ 9.6 × 104/mm3 (p = 0.0067); hyaluronic acid ≥ 265 ng/mL (p < 0.0001); WFA+-M2BP ≥ 6.15 COI (p < 0.0001); Fibrosis-4 (FIB-4) index ≥ 4.97755 (p = 0.0007); achievement of SVR during follow-up period (p < 0.0001); alkaline phosphatase ≥ 317 IU/L (p < 0.0001); AFP ≥ 10.8 ng/mL (p < 0.0001); and DCP ≥ 41 mAU/mL (p < 0.0001) (Table 2).
