In contradiction to previously published results by Chitale et al. [36], who found MAGE-A3 to be present in 20% of the analyzed 130 endometrial cancers, we found MAGE-A3 to be present in 90% of the analyzed tumor biopsies, but overexpressed compared to normal endometrium in only 10% of cases. The gene discussed is MAGEA3; the disease is neoplasm.
