Hyperparathyroidism increased ABL associated to periodontitis (0.99 ± 0.07 vs. 0.70 ± 0.008 mm, p < 0.001), as well as gingival levels of IL-1β and TNF-α (92.25 ± 6.26 vs. 68.25 ± 5.23 pg/mL for IL-1β, p < 0.01; and 80.73 ± 4.52 vs. 62.85 ± 5.85 pg/mL for TNF-α, p < 0.05).
