Our previous study found a nuclear transcription factor NF-κB interacting lncRNA (NKILA) which inhibited breast cancer cell migration by binding to NF-κB/IκB interface and directly blocking the phosphorylation site of IκB, and therefore inhibiting IKK-induced IκB phosphorylation and NF-κB activation [13]. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and breast cancer.
