EGFR and central nervous system cancer: Therefore, we found that the levels of VEGF-A, EGF and active TGF-β1 (Figure 2A) and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-1/2 (VEGFR-1/2), phosphorylated vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-1/2 (p-VEGFR-1/2) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) (Figure 2B, 2C) were significantly downregulated in the cZNF292-silenced U87MG and U251 cell lines, suggesting that cZNF292 silencing represses tumor proliferation and tube formation in glioma cells.
