To determine protein levels of the mRNAs modulated by DHA via microRNAs, we next examined Cdk4, Cdk6, VEGF, IKKα, MEK1, E2F3, Rac1, E2F1, and CDC42 protein levels, which affect growth, inhibit angiogenesis, and promote apoptosis in DHA-treated and vehicle-treated pancreatic cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene CDK4 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
