Several of the same genes responded similarly to serum-deprivation in lymphoblasts from healthy subjects and HD patients: PDP1 (healthy, +38.5%; HD, +24.7%), PDK4 (healthy, +229.9%; HD, +153.4%), PDK2 (healthy, +63.9%; HD, +85.3%), IDH1 (healthy, +111.8%; HD, +65%) and SDHC (healthy, +46%; HD, +42.1%). This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and Huntington disease.
