Because SOD, CK, cAMP and serum cardiac troponin I (cTnI) concentrations are widely used as a biomarker for the detection of myocardial infarction, therefore, we measured SOD, CK, cAMP and cTnI in the serum to qualitatively assess the effect of SHD on the cardiac protection. The gene discussed is TNNI3; the disease is myocardial infarction.
