Publicly available algorithms have indicated that miR-582-5P may directly target the 3′ UTR of APC. miR-582-5P reduces the proliferation and invasion of human bladder cancer by suppressing the expression of target genes such as protein geranylgeranyltransferase type I beta subunit (PGGT1B), leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2), and DIX domain containing 1 (DIXDC1) [16]. Here, LRRK2 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
