More importantly, multivariate Cox regression analysis provided evidence that both clinical stage and ZEB1-AS1 expression could serve as independent poor prognostic factors in patients with glioma, which was compatible with the research results by Li et al. and Wang et al. that up-regulated expression of ZEB1-AS1 promoted tumor metastasis and predicted poor prognosis in HCC and ESCC patients [19,20].
