First, after the transient knockdown of UBE2C in the ESCC cell lines TE-1 and TE-13, we observed a significant decrease in TE-1 cell growth, at all time intervals analyzed during 72 hours, while in TE-13 cells, the statistically significant difference was observed only at the time interval of 72 hours. This evidence concerns the gene UBE2C and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
