To assess whether RBM24 possesses a tumor suppressive function, 5-8 F and CNE-2 cells, which expressed the lowest RBM24 levels among all of the tested NPC cell lines, were selected for generation of Tet-Off-inducible RBM24 expression cells, and the induction of RBM24 expression was confirmed by western blotting (Figure 2a). This evidence concerns the gene RBM24 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
