Kaplan-Meier plot (Fig. 2) showed that the 5-year breast cancer-specific survival rates were 93 % (95 % confidence interval = 76 to 98 %) for women of positive stomatin expression and 65 % for women of negative stomatin expression (95 % confidence interval = 38 to 83 %, p = 0.005). Here, STOM is linked to breast cancer.
