Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CCL) cells are induced to migrate by Wnt5a in a chemokine gradient manner, which is important in regulating chemotaxis and trans-endothelial migration of CLL cells, apparently through upregulating PCP components including Vangl2, Prickle1, CK1ε, Dvl, and Celsr1 [96]. The gene discussed is VANGL2; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
