Increased expression of UBE2C has been observed in various solid cancers including breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, bladder cancer, and ovarian cancer [18–22] As for ESCC, a recently published study has indicated that elevated level of UBE2C is associated with a more advanced clinical stage and worse prognosis [23]. The gene discussed is UBE2C; the disease is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
