At this point in time (day 10 post infection), CD11b+Ly-6Ghi neutrophils represented approximately 65% of the CD11b+ cells in the blood of R. typhi-infected control mice and were completely absent in R. typhi-infected CB17 SCID mice that received anti-Ly-6G antibody (Fig 6A).
