Only women with low CD4 counts (RR: 1.2, 95 % CI: 1.05-1.35, P = 0.006) and presence of SIL (RR: 1.37, 95 % CI: 1.11-1.68, P = 0.005) remained with significant higher risk of being infected with HPV on log multinomial regression analysis.
