VEGFA and neoplasm: Deleting VEGF-A in myeloid cells increases tumour cell death on chemotherapy3 and promotes therapy-induced senescence, as shown by senescence-associated β-galactosidase (SA β-Gal) staining (Fig. 3a,b, day 14, CDDP for LLC and Supplementary Fig. 2A, day 16, CDDP for B16).
