SERPING1 and angioedema: Efficacy of splenectomy had been reported in 1 case report.[34] Rituximab had already been reported to reduce the frequency of angioedema attacks, particularly in the presence of anti-C1INH antibodies and in lymphoma settings.[15–22,35] In our cohort, rituximab prevented angioedema attacks in 79% of the 34 treated patients, with a slightly better response in patients with lymphoid malignancies and no anti-C1INH antibodies.
