Taking together all this information, the aim of the present study was to evaluate the potential influence of CRP, HNF1A, LEPR, GCKR, NLRP3, IL1F10, PPP1R3B, ASCL1, HNF4A and SALL1, polymorphisms related to elevated CRP serum levels in non-rheumatic Caucasians, on the development of CV events and subclinical atherosclerosis in RA patients. This evidence concerns the gene HNF4A and rheumatoid arthritis.
