Since we did not observe any change in the ratio of p-Akt1Ser473/t-Akt between control and excess nutrient conditions (Supplementary Figure S9), we will focus our studies on PP2A, a molecule whose activation has been observed in animal models of insulin resistance [62,63] and in cell-culture studies using high concentrations of glucose and palmitate [64–66].
