Immunohistochemical (IHC) staining of Barx2 protein in a TMA which contained 264 cases of primary gastric cancer paired with normal mucosa and 104 lymph node metastasis (LNM) was used to investigate the relationship between Barx2 expression and the clinical characteristics of GC, summarized in Table 1. The gene discussed is BARX2; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
