No significant differences between two groups were found regarding gender, BMI, history of smoking and drinking, blood pressure, FBG, C peptide, TG, TC, LDL-c, Scr, blood uric acid, TSH levels, presence of neuropathy, diabetic nephropathy, and treatment with insulin, oral hypoglycemic drugs, and antihypertensive medications (all p > 0.05).
