CASP3 and Alzheimer disease: The number of caspase 3/7 substrates significantly rose again for the following 24 h period (AD: 149.3 ± 13.28%, p < 0.001 vs 0 h–24 h; Control: 146.6 ± 6.1%, p < 0.01 vs 0 h–24 h; Fig. 5A), with more substrates produced by the AD neuronal cultures than control cultures (p < 0.01).
