Actually, there were 13 retrospective observational studies reported from these 10 papers, including 8 of them assessing the relationship between HSP27 expression and clinicopathological features of NSCLC (Huang et al. 2005; Liu et al. 2016; Wang et al. 2011; Yao et al. 2009; Zhao et al. 2009, 2014a; Li et al. 2005; Zu and Huang 2005) and 5 of them exploring the prognostic significance of HSP27 expression for OS of NSCLC patients (Liu et al. 2016; Malusecka et al. 2008; Tsai et al. 2014; Wang et al. 2011; Zhao et al. 2014a).
