In present analysis of PI3K/AKT pathway in DU145/XB130- and LNCap/XB130- cells, XB130 knockdown was accompanied by reduced expression of p-PDK1, thr308, p-C-Raf and upregulation of p-PTEN, which indicates that reducing XB130 deters Akt pathway in prostate cancer as in other cancers.
