Further analysis showed that myricetin reduced the levels of IL-6 by 76.6% (p < 0.05 vs. vehicle control) and 89.2% (p < 0.01 vs. vehicle control); TNFα by 89.4% (p < 0.01 vs. vehicle control) and 91.9% (p < 0.01 vs. vehicle control); and MCP-1 by 77.2% (p < 0.01 vs. vehicle control) and 83.3% (p < 0.01 vs. vehicle control) in small intestinal and colonic polyps, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and polyp of colon.
