The results showed that NUMB was differentially expressed in different subtypes of breast cancer based on the PAM50 gene signature, with relative high expression in luminal A and low expression in basal-like breast cancer (BLBC) subtypes (n = 1881, p < 0.00001) (Figure 8B, upper left), which shares many clinicopathological and molecular features with TNBC [2, 8, 11].
