Although a recent investigation showed that C11-acetate PET/CT and bone scintigraphy detect bone metastases equally well,[22] most previous reports concerning C11-acetate PET/CT and prostate cancer have focused on early PSA relapse after prostatectomy or radiotherapy.[8–10] To our knowledge, application of C11-acetate PET/CT for monitoring patients with mCRPC being treated with AA treatment has not been explored previously. The gene discussed is KLK3; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
