Although the effect of Palb2 heterozygosity on the tumor predisposition of Brca2G25R/G25R animals is not any different from the control animals (mean survival: 96 weeks, n = 11, S6B and S6C Fig), on a Trp53Ko/+ genetic background the Brca2G25R/G25R;Palb2Ko/+ mice showed a significant decrease in survival compared to the control (57 week vs. 70 weeks, p = 0.018, Fig 3C).
