GFRA1 and gastric carcinoma: Through re-analyzing our previously published MethyLight data for FFPE surgical samples from Korean patients with gastric carcinoma (Set-1, Table 1) [5], we found that TAIT level in GFRA1 methylation-positive samples (n = 62) was significantly higher than the methylation-negative ones (n = 58) (CtCOL2A1 [median]: 31.0 vs. 32.9, ΔCt = 1.9; P < 0.001; Figure 1A).
