On the contrary, subgroup analyses revealed that SIRT3 expression was significantly decreased in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues (OR = 0.04, 95% CI = 0.01–0.16, P<0.0001) as compared with noncancerous tissues, and upregulation of SIRT3 is a risk factor for lymph node metastasis in breast cancer patients (OR = 2.20, 95% CI = 1.49–3.26, P<0.0001). Here, SIRT3 is linked to breast carcinoma.
