These loci identified by these 18 SNPs consisted of several previously reported genes including FGF5, ATP2B1, MTHFR, CASZ1, CYP11B2, CYP17A1, ADRB1, and HECTD48, 9, 11, as well as seven new genes (L3MBTL4, KIRREL, C9orf98, GALNT18, LOC729251, NLRP1 and TCEANC) that may be associated with hypertension. Here, ATP2B1 is linked to hypertensive disorder.
