Among the 513 CHC patients who finished anti-HCV therapy, higher levels of pre-therapy resistin and platelet count, higher percentages of the IFNL3-rs12979860 CC genotype and HCV genotype 2, lower levels of HCV RNA, HOMA-IR and triglycerides, and lower percentages of HCV genotype 1 were found in those with SVR (n = 428) compared with those without SVR (n = 85) (Table 1). The gene discussed is RETN; the disease is cryohydrocytosis.
