In recent years, several investigators reported the association between the NFKB1 −94ins/del ATTG promoter polymorphism and risk of cancers [14–35] such as bladder, ovarian, prostate, gastric and breast cancers as well as non-small cell lung, hepatocellular and nasopharyngeal carcinomas, but the results are inconclusive.
