CD4 and neoplasm: To be able to address this question we compared three approaches to quantifying tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes: IHC for CD4, CD8, CD20 and CD3 followed by manual counting of 10 high-power fields (Figure 4A), gene RNA transcript levels (log2 normalised) for lymphocyte cell surface markers (Figure 4B) and computational evaluation using FAIME to measure the size of lymphocyte subsets in each sample (Figure 4C).
