IPA (Additional file 1: Table S1) indicated that these miRNAs could regulate signaling pathways associated with key physiological processes such as growth hormone, phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN), and prolactin signaling, as well as disease processes such as Huntington’s disease, cardiac hypertrophy, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and breast cancer.
