IL33 and myeloid sarcoma: Although the myelinating cultures do not mimic the complex in vivo model of demyelinating diseases, our data indicate the importance of IL-33/ST2 axis in MS development, possibly via its involvement in myelination process in CNS, in contrast to the protective anti-inflammatory function of recombinant IL-33 [18] and spinal cord-released IL-33 [28] in EAE.
