These observations were corroborated by our observation that stage II and III CRC patients with high PXR expression have a lower probability of disease-free survival after chemotherapy (Figures 5 and Supplementary Figure S6), while GSEA analyses showed that PXR target genes are associated with a poor-prognosis molecular signature in colorectal cancer patients (Figure 4). This evidence concerns the gene NR1I2 and colorectal cancer.
