NFKB1 and ovarian cancer: When we studied the underlying mechanism of the anti-tumor activity of MIL in ovarian cancer cells, it was found that MIL activated NF-κB pathway in apoptotic ovarian cancer cells and further research revealed that MIL did not only increase the level of NF-κB (p65) protein (Figure 3A, 3B), but also enhanced NF-κB DNA binding activity (Figure 3C).
