The results showed that there was no statistical significant difference of density of neutrophils in bone marrow between mice inoculated with 3LL/NC and inoculated with 3LL/shCXCL1; however, there is approximately 1.3-fold increase in neutrophil counts in the bone marrow of 3LL/shCXCL1 tumor-bearing mice, suggesting that CXCL1 maybe determine the efficiency of neutrophil egress from bone marrow. The gene discussed is CXCL1; the disease is neoplasm.
