Several studies have appeared intermittently over the last two decades that have interrogated Mcc function biochemically in various cancer lines, and a few others have slowly emerged supporting a role for Mcc as a bona fide tumor suppressor in some cancers, including colorectal cancer, B cell lymphoma and hepatocellular carcinoma [100,101,102,103]. The gene discussed is MCC; the disease is B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
