Overweight and obesity was related to dyslipidemia already at baseline, i.e. elevated triglycerides (TG, p < 0.001), decreased high-density-lipoprotein-C (p = 0.009) and increased ultrasensitive-c-reactive-protein (usCRP, p < 0.001) independent of gestational diabetes prevalence. Here, CRP is linked to obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
